Fire à Introduction à Department Profile

The St. Charles Fire Department provides fire protection, technical rescue, hazardous materials response, public education and advanced emergency medical services to the citizens of St. Charles and to those that visit our city. We remain ready to respond to and provide for a whole host of other emergency and non-emergency incidents as well.

Since 1861, the fire department has been proud to be a member of our ever growing and advancing city. As the city has progressed, so has the St. Charles Fire Department. We were the first paramedic service in the State of Missouri, established in 1974, and have grown to include virtually all aspects of service and protection. As our city continues to grow, and tourism continues to increase, we will remain vigilant in our efforts to provide service without boundaries, provide for compassion and integrity in all that we do and maintain the courage to move forward.
