The Code of Ordinances of the City of Saint Charles, Missouri, contains all permanent ordinances of the City. Ordinances are the laws, regulations and restrictions adopted by the City Council. The ordinances in this code are organized by broad subject matter into the following categories:

XIII. General Offenses
XV. Land Usage
 

There is a notation after each section identifying the adopting ordinance number and any subsequent ordinances passed amending the section. Also, at the end of the Code Book there are parallel references to the State Statutes, the Previous 1981 Code Book, and to the Adopted Ordinance Number.
