| The purpose of the Youth Advisory Commission is to promote youth involvement in governmental affairs; to advise the Mayor and City Council on education, cultural development, leisure activities, social concerns; and any other issues requested by the Mayor and City Council. Youth members shall not be older than twenty years of age at the time of appointment and not more than two shall be appointed from any high school, university or community college. Two of the members shall be from a youth service organization.
