The purpose of the Board of Public Works is to take charge of, and exercise control over, the waterworks and sewerage systems of the City. The Board shall make all necessary rules and regulations for the government of the waterworks and sewerage systems. The Board also controls the rates assessed for water produced or sewage treated, subject to City Council approval.
The Board meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. There are seven members of the Board appointed for terms for four years.
