The purpose of the Housing Authority Board is to prepare, carry out, acquire, lease and operate housing projects; to provide for the construction, reconstruction, improvement, alterations or repair of any housing project or any part thereof within the City and make decisions affecting the financing of such projects. The Board also is to provide a local mechanism for assisting qualified residents to acquire State of Federal rent assistance.
Meetings of the Housing Authority Board are held on the second Friday month at 1:00 PM. The Board consists of five members appointed for terms of four years.
