The Greater Saint Charles Convention & Visitors Bureau is searching for volunteers interested in promoting the St. Charles area to visitors, conventioneers, meeting planners, groups and other clients. We are looking for individuals with an energetic personality and some general knowledge of the Saint Charles area.
 

The CVB is looking for volunteers to assist in the following areas:

• Assisting with conventions / shows at the St. Charles Convention Center. Volunteer duties would consist of directing attendees, handing out fliers, providing information at the Concierge desk, assisting with registration and other duties as needed.
   
• The Front Desk of the Visitors Center on Main Street on the weekends. Volunteer duties would consist of greeting visitors, providing information and answering phones. There may also be shifts available during the week to fill in as needed.
   
• Assisting with Trade Shows at various locations such as hotels, sporting events or attractions around the area at information booths, handing out name tags, registration or other functions.
   
• Assembling welcome bags for convention attendees, handwriting invitations and sending out large mailings. 

The benefits of becoming a volunteer with the Convention & Visitors Bureau include admittance to some events, invitations to "volunteer outings" throughout the year, and developing a greater knowledge of the City of Saint Charles and surrounding areas.
